Model A Support Group

Driving a back road on the way to town the other day, we ran into an entire parade of Model A's and other antique cars. They were all quite beautiful and I learned later that there was a big bash in the area for Model A owners. The photo was taken from a distance, as they were coming pretty fast and I had no way to stop and snap a picture. If you click on the photo it will embiggen and you can see the cars more clearly.

What a fun sight to see! Too bad you weren't able to stop, but the picture is great. I love your comments on my posts this week about the Capitol. The legislative session ends tomorrow thank goodness and all those looneys will be leaving town. Well except for the looney-in-chief masquerading as a governor.

Cool -- how serendipitous! You were able to get a nice shot. Love the line of cars against the fence line and trees.

Must have been fun watching them putter by!

Something about those old cars that makes them form up into parades. Maybe that's part of the programming when they're produced, never getting more than a few hundred feet apart... ;-)

My friend's dad, Floridian, Jerry Isbell owned a lot of Model A's. He died last year. I'm pretty sure these drivers would know him!

Rather a classic procession coming up the road there, what a super sight to see!

You have to find these again!

Well done on getting such a super shot at short notice. I would be hopeless at getting anything - never seem to be prepared even though I am usually the passenger in our car :).

You made laugh at 'Corpsewood'. As close as that course is to where we live, we haven't played there 'yet' but often say we should.

You’re such an excellent photographer who doesn’t miss the shutter chance. I think this photo is well composed with the front vacant space which gave me the feel of the approaching speedy procession. I’m interested in the parade of vintage cars.
