This makes me laugh. When we were in California late last year we had a walk on the pier at Huntington Beach. Saw a similar scene with dozens of people gathered around taking photos. Are you surprised to learn this 'consulting service' has offices worldwide :).
Probably so full of fish they couldn't take off if they wanted to. I can take off if I wanted to said one Pelican The other one said-hahaha Like helican!!

"So how long do we have to hang out here letting them take pictures before we can leave?"
"I don't know. I can leave anytime. Those humans love taking shots of you pelicans, but gulls are a dime a dozen."
When visiting Florida I always found the pelican to be a fascinating bird to watch.

I'm sure it's not just local knowledge they may bestow!
Is this where the term "wise old bird" comes from?

We have consultants like these, but more expensive and surely less competent!
Fun image, Lowell !
Oh my goodness I was going to say something about their heads but probably not as nicely as you!!!
Cute shot! I would be paying closer attention though if I were those people.

I wouldn't trust them!
Yep -- don't stand under them and don't look up with your mouth open.
