I vote that it was hijacked off the back of a trailer and taken for a joyride. It ran out of gas and the thief took off for parts unknown. (In response to your questions re: my Lumix camera...a friend had been looking for a small, portable camera and had heard good things about it. Our local camera store (AKA Costco) had them on special and she'd picked one up and told me about it. I also wanted something light and purse-sized. I did a little research, liked the reviews, went to Costco to take a look at it. I thought I'd look at it and then go home to deliberate. It had immediately learned my name and didn't permit me to leave Costco without it.)
See that big cloud up there? Well, it isn't really a cloud, it's an alien spaceship and he got beamed up there for experimentation. Don't worry, he will be back.
Whenever I see a machine like this I always admire the skill of the driver who moves that bucket so skillfully as if scooping with a human hand. Come one lets give the driver a break :-)

Or maybe he is just loitering around waiting for the technician to come and get his machine started :)

Maybe you should have waited . The stop sign requires a full stop and the driver might have needed the men’s room before continuing on.
