This road runs behind our house.  What's beyond the fence is a mystery.  We think the road leads to a couple of horse farms.  We believe, in view of the fact that this is central Florida and everybody and their dog has a gun, that it would be wise not to venture past the gate.

Please note:  Yesterday AOL saw fit to try to destroy my ability to participate on the Internet, so I set up another email which you can use to contact me:  yanson3@yahoo.com.

AOL finally fixed the problem, and yanson2@aol.com is back working so you may use that also.  It's nice to have choices, though, so I'll leave the yahoo email active, too.

Looks like quite a spread beyond the gate.

Good idea, best not to venture further than the gate. Greetings!

I wouldn't go either. You are always reading about some crazy Floridian or Texan or anyone from the south. Too many guns IMHO.

It would be a good idea to obey the sign, Lowell! The guns are scary. I don't even know 1 person who owns a gun.

Silly computers, they do the dumbest things. I do remember when we were quite young hiking in farm country and not being terribly afraid if we climbed a posted fence just for a brief shortcut -- the worst we could expect was a severe lecture or getting chased by the bull. Wouldn't do it now for anything (that was in Eastern Washington State but I'm afraid every State is just as well armed as Florida these days).

Love this photo, Lowell! Glad that your internet is back...and it is good to have a couple of choices!

We take "no trespassing" signs seriously here.
Isn't it fun being dependent on the internet? I got a message today warning me that I may have a malicious file: 500.php. Like I know what that is...

I wouldn't dare to cross this gate either! Glad to hear your email is back up. I will keep both addresses on file. :)

If only AOL could do the same with all those Trump twitters. ;-)
You are a smart man. I would not venture past that gate either.

I wouldn't go either, Lowell.
I think that the gate is also closed with a padlock...

Best to stay out of that property.

Sorry, your "name that tune" guess was wrong, but you can try again. Here's a hint, it's a very old song.
