Excellent candid shot. I hate to rain on you parade but he is actually on his cell phone.

He's a captive audience, for sure.

My bet is that he was wide awake and using his smart phone. Pet peeve: hat on backwards and wearing inside a store, but not as bad as when eating in a restaurant. Guess I am just a product of my generation, having different pubic expectations. Or am I just a old foogie?

Great catch! Kate may be right about the phone. You never know these days!

Kate is right. He is focused on his smart phone as so many people are these days. There are so many phone applications he could be doing anything, but my guess is he is not doing anything productive. In department stores often the only place to sit down is in the women's shoe department. Have a good day, Lowell.

Oh this made me laugh out loud Lowell, what a fab capture.. the plight of many men waiting for their partners to choose! He is very lucky he isn't being asked 'what do you think of this style' I'm sure a nap is much more preferable 😀😀

Shoe shopping was not appealing to him I take it.

Waiting and waiting and waiting some more.

Funny shot, Lowell !

He's had enough!

Like others, I see a cell phone.
I suspect he's working on a long term strategy to get through shopping trips. Either that or, heaven forbid, he's a shoe salesman...

I’m with Kate. I see a part of his smart phone. But if he was sound asleep holding his smart phone being kept waiting for long, his wife (or girl friend) should be in someone’s shoes.
