Dumpster diving

There were two of them...making the rounds of dumpsters in an area near downtown Ocala. People often throw away good and usable items. I'd guess they were taking advantage of that fact.

Save gas, ride a horse!

Candler Hills Golf Course at On Top Of The World

On Top Of The World is a huge 55 plus development just south of Stone Creek. OTOW, as it is called, has three golf courses. Candler Hills Golf Course is the only one open to the public.

Candler Hills is a beautiful course set in the glorious rolling hills of central Florida.

The first picture is of the club house and pro shop and the second is a view of the first tee.

Super Moon

I caught the moon just as it was coming up above the trees. We had a lot of smoke in the air so it was very orange.

As it got higher, the color began to change.

Here it is, climbing higher and higher.

Sign of spring...

...I call this an orchid tree (bush)...but I think it's something else. Any ideas?

Whatever, it blooms for a brief time each spring, and the flowers are very beautiful. We had one in our yard at our former house in Ocala. This one was photographed at the Royal Oaks Golf Course.
