Parking Lot Hog

Some people hog the highways and drive as if there's no one else on the road.  Others hog parking lots and park their vehicles as if no one else needs a parking space.

This photo illustrates the latter.  It appears this person has hogged a total of EIGHT OR NINE parking spaces on a very busy day at Lowe's.

The ideal solution if one has the time is to take every single shopping cart in the area and form a chain link circle right around it.

He has a long load but you would think there must have been a better solution than this.

Well I suppose the person wants to remind EVERYBODY not to touch his vehicles

The person is a hole and that's an A. That drives me crazy when I drove. Another big peeve is when someone parks so close to you that you can barely open the door and there's tons of other parking spaces available. Oh, the memories and madness of it all. I don't miss that Lowell, thanks for the great memories. :)

He should be penalised for this atrocious behaviour!

You obviously miss the point, Lowell. It's all about HIM.

The driver is not only rude, but also unskilled in handling a trailer.

I find things like this VERY annoying. Oh well ;)

Re your question on my blog about the houseboat, yes the owners have to pay a certain amount for being there permanently. I heard once that it is a few hundred euros per year, doesn't sound much to me but it could be true. About the cost of a houseboat like this I have no idea, maybe equal to the price of a caravan or small holiday home?

He's lucky that outboard motor wasn't stolen. I understand they're much in demand these days, more so probably than even flagons and chalices. :-)

It appears as though there is now reason to park that way. They had plenty of room to park straight and only take up two spaces.
