White flowering tree (bush?)
I don't know what kind of tree or bush this is, or what kind of white flowers these are. The bottom photo I took first and there are other purple flowers which overpower the scene. The top photo was taken right after the first, and offers another color scheme entirely.
The white flowers were very beautiful, hanging down from the branches. Perhaps someone out in CDP land will know what they are called.

Those are very beautiful flowers. Nice shot! Have a nice day..
The white flowers look like Wisteria. As do the purple ones. Do they smell real sweet? They are very pretty. MB
Jacob, those are probably white wisteria along with purple wisteria. They're both beautiful and they're in bloom everywhere in Pensacaloa right now. Those are great photos of them.
Looking at your photo I miss the spring very much! They say next week will be real spring in Budapest
I bet those flowers offered a heavenly scent as well.
It seems a robinia or something like that, but I'm not sure. I see robots...
I've seen these before, but I don't know what they are. They are beautiful!
@ Vogon Poet - methinks your mind works in "robotic" ways...
Heh, heh.
Is there really a robinia or are you just funning me?
The second photo reminds me of French Impressionism.
Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow!

a pretty sight!
@ Zsolt72 - I hope that spring comes soon for you...
@ PJ - Thank you for the information. I think Vogon Poet was just funning me!
Thanks for coming by!
@ small city scenes - how come you and PJ are so smart?
Yes, I too bet that there's a heavenly smell as well!
It doesn't look like the flowers are coming from a vine and wisteria is a vine. Robinia is a tree. They are both in the bean family and the flowers look alike. I posted a relative on my Coral Gables blog on March 26, 2009 http://togofcoralgables.blogspot.com/2009/03/three-relatively-rare-tropical-vines.html
@ TOG - I looked at your "relative," and I think you may be right...thanks.
And thanks for coming by Ocala DP!
No idea what they are but they surely look gorgeous!
I agree w/TOG. A nice shot whatever it is.
Yes Robinia is Black Locust which does have similar white flowers. So who knows---I am sticking to the Wisteria theory. LOL MB
I don't know much about Florida flowers. But they are beautiful.
Indeed, beautiful plants but I also have not idea what's the name:)
Very pretty pictures, both.
I dont think I have seen the white flower before, it goes nicely with the purple though.
Because of the lighter lilac color, I'm going with wisteria, as well. Hard to say from the photos, but TOG is right - a good way to tell is if the flowers are attached to a shrubby vine winding up a tree, they are probably wisteria. If they are actually part of the tree itself, they are probably robinia. Either way, beautiful blooms!
Jacob, I was not joking! Your post was pure coincidence with my "robot" thing, and I was quite sure that those beautiful flowers were of a robinia or an acacia.
Maybe I am mistaken, but that was a serious guess!
It's wonderful to see all these flowers, Jacob! THANKS!
@ Vogon Poet...OK...I was just playing with you a bit...sort of.
In fact, I think you're right. I rode my bike by it again today and it is not a vine, but a large bush heading toward a small tree.
In Florida, however, anything you plant becomes a tree unless you trim it constantly!
How come you're so smart and I'm so dumb. Doesn't seem fair.
Seriously: I appreciate very much your visiting my blog and commenting so astutely!
You bring again the spring in my house with your superb images of these great flowers.
Thanks
Juergen
Whatever it is, it is really pretty. It is going to be several weeks before anything with color blooms around here.
Oooo Those are really neat!
Looks like wisteria to me, but what do I know? Whatever they are the photos are just perfect as yours always are. Lovely.
Definitely a wisteria - a native climber to eastern US and east Asia. I often saw the purple one in South Africa - the white one not that often
@ Baruch...thanks for the input. I think Wisteria, also. Unfortunately, I went by there today and all the flowers are gone!
I looks like a Queen's wreath, sandpaper vine.
It looks like a Queen's wreath sandpaper vine.
