This was taken in front of the Stone Creek Restaurant and Grille a couple of weeks ago...the golf course is out of sight on the left. Stone Creek is a plus 55 development by Del Webb on the southwest side of Ocala.
I can feel the warm air and the humidity in your picture It has some appeal tonight. We have rare arctic air overhead which you remember from your Minnesota days. It reads zero on the thermometer.
un paysage de rêve, cela ne donne pas envie de regarder par la fenêtre de mon bureau ;o)) landscapes of dream, that does not want to look out the window of my office ;o))
oh dear friend... you know this wet November here keep go on because it starts December with lots of rainy days as well... So that...It's a gift for my day here your wonderful pictures like this one, a perfect day and those palm trees, the soft red from the plants and the beautiful lake!wow :) I'm really feeling better now! I agree with Marie-Noyale ! We totally empathize with you. If it becomes too hard for you and Lois, you can come here and I can take your place for a while :-))))))
Questions answered: Ritzville is a small ranching town in Eastern Washington. It is in an area called the Channelled Scablands--A geological wonder--(google it). My daughter lives on a huge (10s of thousands of acres)ranch belonging to her husbands family where they raise cattle. They do all the cow work on horseback, qualifying her as a real cowgirl. The header picture is a farm by my house down in the Skagit Valley with Mt Baker as background. the pics on my post are of the ranch. What else???? I hope ALL this has been helpful because I know inquiring minds want to know. MB
That's a beautiful picture Jacob! I've never been hit in the head with a golf ball, but years ago I lived in an apartment near a golf course in Sarasota and every morning I would wake up to the sound of golf balls hitting my back door.
@ Small City Scenes - Thank you very much. I remember now about your daughter living on this huge acreage ... I have a hard time sometimes keeping things straight.
@ Lisa - We will be living about a half mile from where I took this picture. Below zero I don't like much. I thought it was cold here and the current temp is 63!
Wicked cold here today. This picture feels like a dream to me. A warm breezy sun filled dream..... Did I mention it was cold here today. It's 2..... with wind.

Walking near a golf course makes me nervous...I am somewhat of a ball magnet. If there's a ball out there, it will find my head.
Lovely photo though!! :)

It looks wonderful. Such a place to just sit back and relax. MB
I was reading up on Stone Creek and see that it is "the" community to live in. Can't wait to see your shiny blue cart.
I could definitely live here! Great view, beautiful place. What are they going to build here?

I qualify in 10 years, maybe I should start looking now. It looks fantastic.
I agree with M-N. This looks like a manicured Eden.
@ Antjas - Coming soon...
@ Bibi - Seriously? Have you been hit in the head with a golf ball? That doesn't happen to too many people. And I'm sure it hurts just a little bit!
Very calm and relaxing...even if there's a chance of stray flying golf balls. (Don't you know the water is filled with bad drives.)
Looks like a delightful place to enjoy the overindulgence i the restaurant. Just fire up a pipeful or a fine, fat stogy and sip a coffee.

Very pretty & manicured! Niiiice!
Everything is so green!!! Beautiful.
Oh, this is beautiful! Paradise.
They should use your photos for their brochures!!
Looks serene, the kind of place many retirees might enjoy.

Beautiful sky! Would be nice if just relaxing overthere.

Are you sponsored by Del Webb? ;-)
This is such a lovely view, like Léia said, it's comforting for us who are wallowing in rain!
@ Lois - That's funny. I don't remember playing in Sarasota before! ;-)
@ Small City Scenes - Thank you very much. I remember now about your daughter living on this huge acreage ... I have a hard time sometimes keeping things straight.
You've answered one inquiring mind very well!
Too sunny to be legal. You need to come up to Michigan and savor some grey skies and slippery roads.

ooooh, pretty, looks so calm and peaceful! And yeah, sunny, we're having snow.
It's so interesting to see what a La La land you live in, J. It's very pretty.
I feel warmer just looking at this photo! Our temps have been below 0 every morning this week.
