It's an important message, isn't it? Drink and hail a cab!

cela fait une très bonne publicité contre l'alcool au volant...

That's black humor in a way. In my region they show "silhouettes" of people who got killed on the road....

Love Magiceye's pun.....and so true.

Nice Message !! But how many people follow this !!

Don't text and drive, either.

Hee! Maybe Jesus was calling and he got distracted.

An important message that needs to be seen in all its horror. Right now we're living in an area that has a high percentage of drunk driving fatalities. We've been warned by so many people to be careful, esp. re. oncoming cars. When we're out at night, I don't breathe easily until we pull into the garage.

This message cannot be repeated often enough!

To that I would add, "don't text or use cell phones and drive."

@ All - Everything you've said is true. But I forget to mention that even worse is speeding. Speeding kills more people every years than does drunken driving. Drive any road and only a very small minority attempt to drive the speed limit. On Florida's major highways most drive 80-90 mph!

Lots of them have religious symbols on their cars, too. Gotta wonder what their religion means.

Jacob, I left a message for you on my Indian murals post re. using cameras in museums here. Your comment above about speeding is also a clear warning!

Interesting message board.

It IS curious that so many speeders have religious stickers on their cars. Very poor advertising on their part.

I hope the person in the truck did not kill anyone or get killed.... great way to spread the message though.

That is what I call a clear message!

Good advice.

I wonder if the owner wrote that or if someone took the opportunity to make a billboard. Anyway, a nice find, and such an important message!

As for the handsome young pig - did you look into his eyes? They are soulful!

I just came across your blog via Daryl's...your comment mentioned Ocala, and that caught my eye.

This post is especially pertinent to me, because my cousin was killed by a drunk driver in Ocala back in 1990. He was a police officer, and there is a road named after him. His name was William (Bill) Rutherford. Thanks for posting this reminder. Drinking and driving KILLS!
