Cactus Car Wash

The Cactus Car Wash opened for business last year. It is a modern, up-to-date facility, offering those who wait wireless Internet, food service, and a fireplace for those "cold" Florida winter days.

We've been there twice. The first time they did an excellent job. The second time, not so good. We'll probably try once more.

I suppose the thoroughness of the job is dependant on the employee. And they vacuum, too.

Sounds like a prickly situation.

They look pretty efficient from this angle. To me a good car wash is any that doesn't involve my garden hose and a bucket. :)

Maybe they forgot to polish your exterior with cactus juice the second time.

I understand businesses offering amenities to their customers, but the first thing I thought of was How long are you there? I would hope that by the time I connected to the internet and had my Pepsi in my hand it would be time to leave.

Somehow 'Cactus Car wash' makes me think they'd scratch your car!

And here I thought they cleaned the car with a special cactus...

Don't you just love it when a business opens, it's great for a month and then they start cutting corners?

Well third time is the charm--or so 'they' say--whoever 'they' are. I have never seen an outside car wash like that. I know--I am limited. MB

When we see these places in the movies, usually arrives the police chasing one of the employees...

We don't have full service places like this. You can to do your own vacuuming!

What a nice and colorful capture of the car wash and its daily happenings.

Gosh yes, a fireplace is so important in Florida. Wouldn't want to catch a chill. LOL.

And here was me thinking that a prickly cactus would be good for real gritty dirt!

I washed the car at lunchtime, now why was I wearing WHITE pants?

$11 for a car wash? Yikes. I am gonna send you a bucket, a nice couple of absorbent towels and a squeegee .. you can do-it-yourself and if you have WiFi in your house you can surf the net while your suds your car!

They don't have the fireplaces here..
Of course in mid winter nobody would get their car back, but rather stay warm and cosy!!!!

One of the main shopping centers around here is also named "Cactus". I don't quite grab the relation between cactuses and Luxembourg, but nevermind...
God bless you!

Those 'cold' winter days! :-)

Ummmm, what do cacti have to do with washing cars? Cacti live in deserts where there's little water. Is that what they are trying to say, that they skimp on water? Just asking!

Well, the black car is really shiny! :-)
