Kotobuki's is a well-known Japanese restaurant in Ocala, having been in business here since 1986. It recently moved to this new location in a small shopping center near the Paddock Mall.
I am not sure I like the minimalist design here. And the name of the restaurant sounds like a motorbike. Having said that, I am sure the food is delicious.
I got to say, from the outside I'd never know this was a restaurant. It's lacking a certain "got to come in here and get something to eat" quality, don't you think?
It looks like Home Depot went into the restaurant business, but unless you plan to dine in the parking lot that's probably not an issue. If the food is good. I'm assuming the food is very good. :)
It would be interesting to see the inside of this place. They must be able to rely on word of mouth after being established for so long. I would never have known what this place was if it wasn't for you describing it.
Wow, I really like it, except I wish they'd finished off the window and door area with some color rather than leaving it so plain. They could have had a real statement here.
. . . Maybe not more color, maybe just less of the metal framing. I think they ruined what could have been a great look. It's funny what captures one's fancy.

I like this look for an eatery, a place where I would expect the food to be carefully prepared in a super-clean environment.

Well I think it looks very posh. Always an adventure. MB
lovely sense of space here
A very pleasant view from outside.
I don't know Japanese food. I hope the food in this restaurant with this interesting name will be fine.
LOVE sushi ... very clean styling there

The food must be good if they have been in business that long.
As I love Japanese food, I would love to have a dinner there, mainly in these Summer nights!
Léia
how is their sushi?!
I hope the new building has more charm. This just looks like your typical strip mall place.

Some have called it minimalistic, but I like it.
There's a trend for businesses in shopping centers to "blend" in.
I love Japanese food. California maki.
A promotional poster near the door or window might help attract more customers.
Nice shot!
You must have been hungry...I guess I should have come down here and posted first...but taking pictures of restaurants. I am glad I just had a snack!
