Olan Mills ladies posing for the camera

As I was walking by, these two ladies, engaged in selling Olan Mills portraits, saw my camera and smiled. So, naturally, I pointed my camera at them. This is the result!

I love their smiles but hey, if I were her I'd shove my handbag further out of sight!

People buy portraits of strangers of a famous photograph? Do they hang them at home?

Haha! I bet the last thing they expected was for someone to take their picture!

Better tell her to keep her eye on her purse.

Cool, a portrait of Olan Mills.

How much were they willing to pay for their pictures?

I'm sure they are not used to being the ones who are photographed!

Wonderful! It has the casual feeling of a Girl Scout cookie booth. Not usual in portrait salespeople I've encountered.
I hope they at least offered you a discount.
