Ocala Arts & Crafts Festival - Oct. 2010

Lots of good stuff to eat, but I couldn't find a turkey anywhere!

To my U.S. friends: Happy Thanksgiving, anyway!

I would not be looking for turkey...I liked it okay as a kid but don't like it at all now. We are having a ham!

Arts and crafts??? It looks more like maybe the Art of food and the craft of eating it.

BTW: I figured you knew what I meant but I guess I was expecting --well I don't know what--something snider. OK??? I knew somebody named Snider once but I don't think it is the same. MB

No drumsticks or turkey on a stick.

We aren't having turkey anyway...we are 'feeding the valley' tomorrow and having pot roast for dinner...

In Ohio, where I worked for six years until this past summer, they show a massive butter cow at the Ohio State Fair. And donuts as big as basketballs. The ability of people to eat stuff that is bad for them is endless.

Now, turkey and cranberry sauce and apple pie are GOOD for me. Looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Hope yours is good.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! It does look like all the familiar street fair food except maybe for the grouper sandwich. Have a great day.

Regarding your comment--while i wouldn't want to be stranded I always loved a man in a sailor uniform. MB

Regarding your comment as to this global crisis, I totally agree with you. There's a new book (I haven't read it yet, but I surely will) written by a couple of guys I admire, it's called 'The Owners of Portugal' describing how our lives depend on a couple of douzens of men (and their families which have associations among them such as... banks!). Even IF politicians were decent people, they would have a hard work fighting against them... As most of them aren't, they can easily be bought and there are many ways to do it. Every country has its owners, more or less depending on the population, and they all do rule this world. Very scary indeed!

Look closer. In a group this large, probably plenty of turkeys. hahaha

Hmmm. Pardon me for saying so, but I suspect there were plenty of "turkeys" there. :)
