It's called "Main Street"...

...but it's far from downtown.

Interesting. You would think Main Street would be flush in the heart of downtown.

c'est peut etre l'ancienne 'main street' et que la ville a changée et bougée.

Looks like an attempt at old time downtown with the lettering and the light, alas, since that is not the case, I assume it is a developers ploy.

I like the street lamp.
And that they spelled out 'street'.

Ha! I guess every town needs a Main Street and Ocala didn't have one! (East Gwillimbury DOES!)

Probably is a developer's dream!

Very nice shot of lamp post cum direction indicator.

We don't have one of those here. Nice shot.

We don't have main streets. We have street names... Nothing but street names.

The light design reminds me of a hurricane lamp.

I like the lamp too.

I think you might be right. I like that light, it's kind of different than most that I see.

Perhaps it stays mainly in the plain like the rain in Spain. Or it got lost and needs directions.

I think it's so odd streets are named like this; a Lakeview Drive with none in sight, for example.

How could you get that "main street" is not focused at alla? Was it an effect you added?

I think that must be the Main Street for the people that live there.

I think it's a typo, it was supposed to mean "Maine".
God bless you!
