Near this house in the woods...

I'm sure I spied a little girl wearing a red hood. And at the edge of the woods I saw what appeared to be a wolf. But when the creature turned and ran I could tell it was merely a coyote. I looked back to where I spied the little girl, but she was gone. Obviously, this was not the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

There could be all kinds of things hiding in those dense woods.

I like the glow on the house. Nice piece of property.

That must be granny's house in the distance. These are colors we are not likely to see until next spring. Just watch out for that little girl in the red cloak. She is very sly.

That may have been a wolf in coyote clothing. I'm disturbed that the little girl in the red hood is missing.

Ah, my favorite childhood story!

I like the story. "Merely a coyote" is OK in my book. As much as I've lived in or near their territory, I've rarely ever seen one.

If I squint, I can see her. As always, I love the effects you create with your photos!
