Sunrise ... cut in half


This photo has not been altered other than a bit of contrast added and some sharpening. I have no clue as to why the sky appears to be split apart. Perhaps someone out there in Blogger Land will know what caused that phenomenon.

Neat photo. Those splits are caused by flying saucers.

looks like a heavy dew on the grass. beautiful. i can't explain that parting in the sky but no man could have put that asunder.

I don't know, you should send it to the weather channel and ask them to explain it. Then tell us what they say. Upper level wind shear? What ever it is the picture is spectacular!
