I wonder if he is "protecting or service?" I asked this once of a police officer after he stopped me for an illegal left turn (about 3 sec before I could legally execute it) while looking for a coveted parking spot at the U of MN. He went ballistic. I think my fine was larger than normal!
The Mustang driver likely has a heavy right foot. My own favorite shot of a policeman doing his duty was with a Lamborghini driver getting the ticket. All that power and no where to use it.
Thanks for your visits and comments on my blog. Much appreciated.
Great photo. Police and motorcycle brand Harley Davidson. If I'm not mistaken. It is good that these great tools police use. For us in Hradec Kralove is used by city police. Lowell, all the best and many cordial greetings. Peter.
I once got pulled over by a woman cop on a motorcycle who when I asked what I had done said - "It's about the pro turn". I said (in all honesty) "I didn't make any fancy turn". She laughed and said "Prohibited not pro". At the same time my lovely Airedale was hanging out the window just wagging her tail like crazy. The nice cop let us go with a warning and a nice pat for the dog! Made my day.

I`m a retired bus driver and I just love it when I see this.
And no...I don't own a black car ;)....glad you clarified that someone at least had their hand on the steering wheel ;)
Luckily I don't have this problem because my drive to work is so traffic-y, you couldn't speed if you wanted to!
Looks like someone's been naughty!

On the positive side, maybe the driver was saved from something worse by this delay. We will never know.
I agree. Not a fun way to start the day.

Hmmm... I haven't been stopped for whatever reason for quite a while, even a routine check, so hope to keep my record.
Not a good start at all! Though it's avoidable if one adheres to the rules of the road ;-)
That would not be fun. I always try to leave with plenty of time.
Oh boy would I hate that!
It depends from the point of view, for the policeman it is definitely fun, he has started the day with a good catch ;-)
Oh, my! Definitely not a good way to start the day.
oh dear. but so convenient that the cop's motorcycle is blocking his license plate!
On the positive side, they will probably drive more carefully now.
I try and always use my cruise control because I have a heavy foot!

Oops, Lowell, what did you do? I'm glad Lois Ann caught the photo for posterity.
Oops!
Hot car + heavy foot = predictable consequences.
I'm laughing at Tapirgal's comment...Nice photo, Lois Anne!

I'm sure he, or she could afford the fine.
