The effect gives the viewer a feel for the heat that you have in Florida!

I like this effect. You could have taken this photo in south Phoenix.

Palm trees look very inviting on a day like today.

Hmmm. Somehow I have never thought of hay bales and palm trees together in one photo. But it works!

Now why is that a combination that I find hard to imagine? I like it a lot though!

It's a little mind bending to see hay bales with palm trees. Around here you may see them with evergreens in the distance.

Sounds like a song that you must write. I already have the tune in my head.
Nice paint idea.

Cool effect. It looks like a painting. (That guy was maybe 5'6" . . . no, not me . . . but I can see how the bald spot confused you.)

That really is an interesting juxtaposition. I love the effect and the desert feel it creates.

Thanks so much for your comments and the photography link! Your timing was perfect. I'm going to look at cameras tomorrow, and I found a great recommendation on his website.

There is something about hay bales that really attracts my photographer's eye...I love to photograph them...however I always try to have negative space around them..whereas snapping them with palm trees...what a great contrast....it is like a midwest meets sunny Florida...I love how you processed it also...btw..not sure if I mentioned how much I like your prose!!

I like the artistic style!
