Walking the dogs

As we meandered down the trail to the Silver River in the Silver River State Park, we came upon these two gentlemen. They were walking their dogs. I asked if I could take their picture and they agreed. One of the dogs immediately lay down and pretended not to notice the camera. The other dog thought he should go back the way they came so it took a little effort to get him to face the camera. In the end, I got the photo, and the men took off. They were not much for conversation. The meeting was kind of mysterious.

Thank you for all your comments on yesterday's post. No, it didn't snow in Ocala. I have read somewhere that a few flakes fell once. In 1986, I think. But I wanted it to snow and Photoshop was able to grant my wish. Below is the original photograph. It was foggy that morning, but fairly warm.

Beautiful dogs, Lowell, even though the gentlemen weren't big on converation, it was nice that they let you take this photo.

I've been telling everyone that it was snowing in Ocala!! ;-0)) Now I'll have to tell them it was a Photoshop job

We had a cat who loved a camera - any chance to be photographed and he was right there.

I'm relieved to hear that it was a put-up job! If it was snowing there, I thought we (in the equator) should start getting worried.

Handsome dogs! German Shepherds, right?

I was pretty sure I would have heard about snow in Florida on the news!
Isn't funny how dogs hate cameras. They really do seem to turn away from a camera whenever one is pointed in their direction.

Ha! I knew you were up to your old tricks.

Nice looking dogs. My husband and I took a walk with our dog in a local park on Friday and a huge pit bull came charging at us. We had to ward him off with a cane until the owners arrived to retrieve the monster. It was pretty scary.

That darn photoshop gets us every time. (not really, we have the weather channel)

You must have been suspicious to make the one dog stand at attention and look at you warily. MB

Looks like a beautiful area for a walk. Sounds like you fooled some folks with the snow!

I am so sad...no snow today?

Well, at least there are two beautiful dogs :-)

Hmm...mysterious dog walkers. Hope you don't hear about them on the 7 o'clock news. Gee...snow...or Photoshop snow....howdja do dat?

Oh. So now I see you got out your Photoshop shovel and cleaned things up. I suppose it's an easier job than the folks up north had after Nemo. Did you at least put on a sweater while you worked?

I'm glad to learn that the Florida snow-birds are not suffering.

My dog always sneaks into my photos when I don't want him to, and when I do, he walks away. :-) It looks like it was a lovely day for a walk.

Gotta love dogs...even if they don't want to cooperate. :)
