Ocala's Resident Kook
This old guy has been promoting his hatred of our president for the past several years on this particular corner with a variety of signs. Most people pay him no mind. I have not seen him recently, however, and that may be due to the fact the Ocala City Council passed an ordinance forbidding begging at certain intersections based upon the belief that these people are a distraction and a danger to motorists. It appears our resident kook has disappeared along with the beggars.

Being that angry can't be good for that old guy. Interesting photos. I live in a red state, but never see people this involved.
Great capture, Lowell. I don't like it when people badmouth others, even if they are right. It may be just me, but I have never been fond of people who do this. The way I see it, if they badmouth others they will badmouth me as well.
I was surprised by all those such violent signs in the street during my US trip...
Pierre
Maybe he is not out on the street any longer because he got sick and he does not have insurance, or may e he is fighting with his health insurance company to try to get authorization to see a specialist.
Most times you just can't explain CRAZY!
The best thing I can say is at least he's gone!
I like Dave's thoughts above. I really do wonder where these people get their crazy ideas. I bet he thinks Rush Limbaugh always tells the truth.
How nice to have time to sit around spreading hate and discontent. And people wonder why children these days have no respect for elders, teachers, police or each other.
Certainly activity of that type can't help motorists on busy roads!
Obviously a guy with problems!
I'm kind of grateful that we don't have this here... But then again, we probably have much worse!
Some people just need to breathe and let go.
The old guy probably had more problems than we will ever know. A hatred of any people is not good. Ever!! MB
Angry old guy. Kook seems a mild word. I like that you show all sides of the city.
Sounds a lot like a neighbor of mine, although the neighbor doesn't carry signs. I don't get either of them.
Hmmm. (Rolling my eyes)
What does he want? Bush again? Crazy guy...
Bad grammar.
