A lot of bull!

There is a mini-horse farm down the road from us which also has a few goats and this bull. While on a bike ride the other day, we stopped to take some pictures.  As we leaned over the wooden fence, we saw the bull begin to come our way. "How cool," I thought. "We'll be able to get some really good shots."

Not so.   At the moment this photo was taken, the bull put down his head and charged. The ground shook! Dirt flew everywhere! He roared right up to the fence, snorting and pawing the ground! We thought he was coming right through the fence!

We determined it was the better side of valor to make tracks so we jumped on our bikes and headed for home!

The bull saw red?!!

It's the goats that are at fault Lowell. They feed the bull a lot of BS about you. :)

He's a good looking bull but not all that friendly, I guess. I bet he could get through that fence if he wanted to.

I got some instruction from a Vermont bull many years ago. Now I admire them from a safe distance.

A Connecticut Yankee is quite like a Boston Brahmin, except that CT version went to Choate or Kent and then Yale while the MA version was at Andover or Exeter before Harvard. Both wear seersucker jackets in the summer.

At least he is sticking to the path, were you wearing a red shirt by any chance?!?

Funny, he doesn't look that mean!

That house is a semi-detached and would probably sell for at least $2.5million and a lot more if the inside has been modernized i.e. new kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Prices here are quite crazy especially in particularly desirable areas.

Oooh, that happened to me once except I didn't notice the bull at first and I didn't have any means of escape. Luckily, it didn't charge. I wish someone could have filmed me crawling back to safety along a hedge...

You live dangerously.

Gee, and it looks so sweet in the photo you took! But I do think the goats behind him were egging him on. Old goats can incite angry mobs. Look what they do in the House, after all.

That's a Brahma bull noted for their bad tempers. They are often used as rodeo stock as they are ferocious bucking bulls. I note the fence is substantial to contain it's residents. You were wise to just move on.
