Contact who?

There are a number of vacant storefronts in Berkshire Oaks.  I've often asked myself, "Why is that?"

I think internet commerce and big box retailers have decimated the market for smaller retail space. And this is not a short term phenomenon. Some people worry the banks will be hit with losses when the non-performing loans from the cratering retail lending cycle through their balance sheets.

Perhaps if you don't know who to contact, you can't afford to lease this property? Good catch.

I guess it's going to be available for quite some time!

In fine print is says, "if you can't see a contact name, that means you can't afford it." :-)

Ha! Looks like you have to contact no one. Maybe you could just move right in.

You are finding some classic signage, Lowell, today and yesterday. Most amusing. (Right this minute we are having a mighty storm. Bet it is like the one you had the other day. I am confident that none of those thatched roofs I photograph will have blown away. At least I hope not. Here's to dryer weather so you can get back on the golf course :).)

Well, that's why the storefronts are all vacant, because there is no one to call..

What puzzles me here is that we have the same thing here but business will come in and build from scratch.
