This looks like something that should be in a movie set. Though I'm guessing all the stuff growing on this tree doesn't make for a healthy tree.

Apart from the moss, your photograph certainly reminds of Pasadena, CA. In my youth, Sunday afternoons were always spent driving around with my Dad and Grandparents on roads like this looking at the beautiful homes.
