I've read about "gold diggers" for years, and I knew there were dealers who bought gold, but I didn't know gold buyers walked the streets until just recently. And I'm not sure how I'd feel about bringing my gold inside Soapy's Car Wash. Heck, I'm not sure I'd even bring my car to Soapy's Car Wash!

This scene also turns me off from making deals st Soapy's.
Now that's multi tasking for you!
comme j'ai pas d'or, je me pose pas la question , mais j'aurais pas confiance....et pour faire laver ma voiture je préférerai Ici ;)))
Money laundering?
Soapy's gold deals look pretty slippery to me.
This is all very strange... but I'm sure we're not the only ones whose interest has been piqued!
Ok, aren't most 'gold diggers' women?????? Sorry!
Now, a bunch of 'diggers' all wet and soapy in HOT Ocala... hold that image. A gold digger is taking on a whole new facade for me right now.
hehehehehehehe!
I wonder what gold is worth at the car wash. Maybe they trade gold for free washes. We have people with signs walking the streets advertising to buy gold too but I have yet to see one in and orange hoodie at the car wash.
I echo you sentiments exactly. A little coin exchange in some dark corner---is it legal? Goodbye Soapy. MB
I'm with you on this one. The two businesses just don't seem to go together. I'd steer clear.
Totally bizarre if you ask me!
We have a drive-through espresso stand that advertises gold buying, too. But so far there's no one wandering the street advertising. I guess it appeals to people who aren't inclined to get out of their car. I mean, really. Whyever get out and walk somewhere??
Couldn't resist Googling this: "We're here today... here tomorrow, with a private office inside Soapy's Carwash next to Walmart." LOL! There's a marketing tagline for you!
Inside of a car wash. Something's fishy.
OK. I will join your boycott of Soapy's.
OMG, this looks not very professional for a gold dealer...
P.S. Many thanks for the happy birthday wishes :)
(damned social media... haha...)
Wonder how these gold buyers are doing now that the price of gold is declining? Perhaps they are desperate enough to send "sandwich board" men out to advertise. Interesting sign.
You don't want to sell dirty gold do you?
Another case of "truth is stranger than fiction."
