Me again. My grandmother grew up in Turlock; she was a farm girl there. She saw the smoke from San Francisco as it burned after the 1906 earthquake.

I miss many friends and good people back there but you're right. Sequim's a much better spot for me now.

Shhhhh! Let her sleep.
I posted cows to. there ya go again.

For 3 years we spent a few weeks at the fire lookout in the summer and/or early fall. We volunteered not actually working. We learned the surrounding area and were on watch.

Well, there be no Milk Shake there.

Very peaceful shot.

I suspect her sleepiness might be infectious.

Ah, but her friend is keeping an eye on you for the sleepy one.

We were so surprised the first time we came to Florida to see how much of it is rural... lucky cows to live where they can eat grass this time of year!

You've given me an idea. I have never taken a photo of cows. It is on the list!!

I'm not 'speechless' today :).

Lovely. Reminds me of summer in Wisconsin & it sure looks good right about now (14 degrees with snow flurries)!

Touching shot. Don't often see those guys/galls off their feet.
