The Bloodmobile

The Bloodmobile put in a day at Walmart and then a day at Market Place - Heathbrook. It is in a life-saving business.

That is a big one! I took a photo of a similar behemoth a couple of months ago but didn't use the photo.

The blood clinics here do run mobile clinics and indoor clinics, and have used buses in the past. Now they've converted a tractor trailer for the same purpose, and it gives the nurses more room. I donate regularly.

Good for them! For some reason, this post is reminding me that I need to get my blood work done.

Good idea to go where the people are.

Serve a good purpose for sure. I've given blood before. I need a cookie now. MB

We have them too but they aren't nearly as nice as this one.

I'm not allowed to give my blood which is a shame because I'm an universal donor...

I know it's important to give, but I can't part with my life-giving fluids. :(

Smart way to do it!

I know a Rabbi who credits his own donation of blood with saving his life, as it resulted in the diagnosis of a disease for which he received treatment.

I've only given blood once in one of these vehicles but I give regularly at a local blood bank facility.

I wonder how many people gave blood in this bus while they were in town.

A clinic on wheels, we don't have such buses here...
