Applebee's Restaurant - mid-afternoon

Whenever we drive cross country, I often get very cross because the roadside cuisine and small town restaurants serve TERRIBLE food. We normally will eat at McDonalds only because at least the food there is consistent. When we overnight in any town with an Applebees, I am very happy because we can get food that is eatable and fairly decent. American cuisine has a loong way to go.

I've heard of the chain, but it's never made it north of the border.

I've never been in one! I don't know if we have them up here. Looks like you have your choice of where to sit.

Looks like the window tables are by far the most popular!

Looks clean and neat. I'd eat there.

I don't think I've ever seen one with so few customers.

The afternoon buffet? Won't have to search for a table today.

Lunchtime? Where are all the people. Do you dine at Applebee's?
There are several out this way. Just off the freeway anyway. MB
