Do Not Molest Plants

I honestly never knew this was a problem. Maybe it's a Florida thing?

It's one of those unspoken violations. Floridians are up front about it, ahead of the curve. Just wait. Eventually there will be more consciousness about it, and perhaps a "Perennials against perverts" group will be formed. Nasturtiums are especially pained by the problems. Why otherwise would we call then "nasties?"

Oh dear. You just know there`s someone out there with a cease and desist restraining order for life out there after having their way with Mrs. Pritchard`s prized begonias.

Maybe it was written by a Spanish speaker. In Spanish, molestar just means to bother.
