A sculpture or ?

This is not meant to be a puzzle, but I'm just not sure what the heck it is! We discovered it downtown. There are lots of goofy things downtown!

I see a zombie warrior in there somewhere...perhaps a cross between Arnold Schwartzenegger and Mel Gibson...?
The U.S. Open is somewhere around Tacoma. It's at least a couple hour's drive from us.

What a hoot!! I think it's a soldier from another planet that got caught robbing the fridge in some old grumps house (hence Florida)! Ooops!! Not that all old grumps end up in Florida, you understand!! OH, I AM BEING BAD TODAY, aren't I!!

Some might call this a mess.

It looks like some type of robot!

I am sure this thing will end up at the MoMA, with a room on its own...

Looks like it's chained to the wall, so it must be valuable!

I'm thinking this one could win a prize for goofy! What a fun find!

Good thing it's chained up, wouldn't want that loose on the town.

I prefer art that is a lot more controlled than this one! ;-))

Goofy? Yes, but interesting, especially the eyes.

Last Fall, I posted a horse sculpture made out of recycled stuff l -- and someone said in a comment that it was a good example of 'steampunk'. I looked it up but still don't understand what that means -- but maybe this is also.
