Re-purpurse-ing
One of the interesting things happening all over the world these days is the repurposeing of older, often vacant, and frequently industrial-type buildings. Sometimes they're remade into offices or condos or both.
It's a great idea, I think. Women, I have found, often need to repurpose their purses. Actually, in their case, it means buying a new purse as the old one has become too small too accommodate the many items they need to carry on their persons.
It was exciting, while out traveling around, to find a site for re-purposeing purses because I thought my female readers would appreciate looking over the purses available, while my male readers might find it a place to purposely avoid.

Guys would much rather go to a hardware or electronics section for sanctuary!
Well, I have two purses, both from Goodwill, but I only carry one when I have to have something to put my billfold in!! Guess you could say that I'm not a "purse-lady"!
A new purse is necessary to fit any purpose, anytime!
What about a manbag, Lowell! They can get pretty roomy too. ;-)
One purse...oh yeah, and one daypack. My days of switching purses to match outfits or moods are over. And since I found a very good quality purse-maker I've ordered my last two online. I also inherited some of the many purses my mother HAD to have, so if I ever cave in to needing a different look, I have my own small repurposed collection!
My personal opinion is that women carry way too much in their purse. As for myself, I am very organized so I think "less is more", and I also dislike clutter and disarray. A small, well organized purse is fine. I like this photo, Lowell, and I am all for re-purposing. :)
Better than building a new building.
I agree with everything you write...
I don't spend too much in purse. I buy bags since it is very necessary to carry everywhere. It holds many things than purse...
It looks very busy, never seen so many bags!
ok I stay in the bar in the corner of the street

You are so clever with words. I love the idea of repurposing and seeing purses get new owners! Have a great weekend!

I just stuff my wallet in my camera bag and I'm good to go.
I'm re-"pursing" all the time. I just haven't found the perfect purse/camera bag yet.
LOL! Well said, Lowel!
Oh Lowell...
I admit, I have a love of bags.
What do you expect me to carry my camera around in? ;-)
I so agree Lowell, an empty building is always under threat from demolition.. Yikes!
I repur-pursed my life a few years ago when we sold our home; there was no room in the RV for a collection of bags. One small fanny pack bag holds camera, phone, Kindle and a credit card (there is supposed to be some cash too, but that has a way of disappearing).
I'm a fan of small (tiny) purses. I hate it, though, that it has to be big enough to carry a cell phone as well as money. Hmmm.
