I think that's one of those planets where the air is hard to breathe. At least, that's my excuse.
To answer your question, I believe you are thinking of the Pima Indian Reservation and yes, it is still there. The furthest street east in Scottsdale is Pima Road and on the other side is indian reservation. However, lately the reservation is growing more and more commercial with casinos, gas stations and even that Butterfly World museum that I've featured before.

I notice ghost letters to the left, so I wonder what was here before. Nice sky!
a very good title for your photo!
And aren't you the clever one!!! And the perfect pic to prove it!! Hope your weekend is going well, Lowell!! Enjoy!
Lol and when I saw the post title, I thought I'd see a planet...
Gorgeous sky! :)
Like the contrasting colors you have here with the blue of the sky and the red and yellow of the roof. It works well.
Do you visit this planet often?
All we need is Jack LaLanne posing on the roof and the scene would be complete.
Beautiful day there!
Your picture reminds me that I need to do some sport :)

So blue sky. You took a great idea to this photo.
No planets visible in the sky during the day, but at night we might be able to spot one or two....
Clever, Lowell! The sky is gorgeous. Please send some sunshine to Ontario. :)

Fitness? A distant planet in a galaxy far away...
To replace Pluto!
Nice colors on that building! Gorgeous sky too.
I love Florida skies! With or without the planet. ;-)
