This photo was taken very recently. I liked the way the trees form a kind of grid. The black-and-white version was an experiment, but I thought it worth keeping.

My goodness! Those are skinny trees! Not much like what you'd find in the Evergreen State!
Those tall, straight trees make a great pattern on both the ground and up in the air.
They all appear to standing at attention.

Love the tall trees Lowell, we have Karri forrests down south that are amazing to walk through.
The B & W makes it look a bit mysterious.

Sometimes black ad white makes me notice things I miss in colour. I like both versions.
I love photographing "skinny" trees. The lines are really neat. I like the B&W - very Ansel Adams!
