The Tale of Two Kayaks
These two women arrived at the river with two kayaks. It was a package deal: each kayak came in its own package. They proceeded to unwrap the "packages" and laid out the formless kayaks on the ground. Somewhere in the package was a air compressor. After plugging the air compressor into a hole in the prone kayak it began to gradually assume the familiar kayak shape.
There were many other things to do in preparation for their trip down the river and the whole process was all new to me. While I didn't stick around to see the completion of their tasks, I spied them out in the middle of the river later that day, paddling away! The kayaks looked quite elegant and stable and surprisingly unlike the rubbery masses that were spread out on the ground just a short time before.

I didn't know there were blow-up kayaks!
I saw a license plate today and thought of you - ALIG8R
nice women need a helper
I'd rather trust one that doesn't have to get blown up, but I imagine this is a lot easier from a storage point of view.
Everything is made simple these days because people like that way. Just add air is pretty basic for just about everyone. Any more complicated than that, I think people wouldn't bother to buy it. Glad they made it to the river.
I don't think I would like to be in a blow-up device...well, at least not if there are sharks or alligators around. LOL! :)
Did they have a rigid one too or did the one in the background belong to someone else? These are probably a good deal for travelers or people without means to haul them. But I do wonder if they deflate as efficiently as they inflate.
Must be fun! Would love to go kayaking someday!
Interesting. I wonder if things would have been easier just having a regular kayak on the top of your car. Mine would stay there and people would think I kayaked a lot.

They must have done this before. Good for them, it must be nice to spend the day like this.
I learned something new today, also I did not know there were blow-up kayaks !
One bite from that giant alligator and..... pfffftttt!
I didn't even know that some kayaks were of the blow-up type. I don't think they would survive an alligator bite.
You can really get blow up everythings these day's 😀 must admit, like William, if I'm going out on the water I would prefer something more solid between me and the aqua 😊
