Cleo While Napping
My kitty, Cleopatra, loves her Golden Retriever buddy. So when she takes a nap, she crawls underneath the dog's leg for security. She's very relaxed as you can tell, and perhaps you can see the tip of her ear on the other side of the dog's leg.
I want to thank you all for your patience with my "new blog" fiasco. I'm still not sure what happened, but it has been deleted.
Now, I'll ask for more patience in that we have family coming to visit and I will be off-line for a week or more. (Unless, of course, I can sneak away and sneak on the computer!).
To my USA friends, I wish a Happy Fourth of July. To all, I wish my very best!

Geese - Noisy Rascals
For several days my internet connection has gone crazy and there was nothing I could do about it.
At the moment I am still unable to access my new blog at LowellsPhotos.com.
Therefore, I'm going to ignore my new blog and will continue posting on this blog.
I'm posting a photo of two geese today because they remind me of my internet provider, CenturyLink: a lot of running in circles making loud honking noises, but getting nowhere!
Thanks for your comments and your concerns. I'm hoping the issues have been taken care of and there will be no further problems.

We Have Moved!
After eight years with CDP, we have decided to make a move. We have created a new blog dedicated to creative photography, rather than a place.
The name of this new blog is simply "Lowell's Photos."
The URL is: http://www.lowellsphotos.com. Just click HERE.
We hope you will visit out new blog because our blogging relationships continue to be a source of great joy to us.
See you at Lowell's Photos.

Seventh-Day Adventist Church
As I'm typing this, the 7th day of this week is winding down so I thought it appropriate I post a picture of a 7th Day Adventist Church. I'm not going to going to go into the theology of this particular denomination other than to say it is a Christian sect, begun by a woman in the 19th century. One of the major features of their belief system is that God wants his people to rest and worship on the 7th day, which is Saturday.
As it happens, one of my golfing buddies is a retired pastor of the 7th Day Adventist denomination. He's also a great guy and we have a lot of fun together even though neither of us is a particularly good golfer. Okay, to be honest, he's a little bit better than I am. :)
