Beeg Bus!

We ran into (metaphorically speaking) this beeg bus on SW Highway 200 in Ocala the other day. At first I thought it was a large RV, but upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a bus that transports singers, or other entertainers, from one town to another.  Or it may have been a tour bus, one of thousands that haul the elderly to Florida's casinos where they gleefully watch their money disappear in slot machines.

Clearly, the driver was in a hurry, charging down the highway, darting in and out of traffic; I thought surely he/she would wipe out several smaller cars before he/she got where he/she was going! :)

My father was a careful driver and he often said he'd rather be known as Mr. Anderson late than the late Mr. Anderson.  Not a bad motto in these days of crazed drivers and road rage.

Crazy drivers know no borders. We have plenty over here too. All you can do is be alert and stay back.

A nice capture and I would always rather be late, than be a crazy driver. Though, I must say, I strive to be early.

I bet it someone's private coach! Better to be late than sorry as they say!

Oh I love your dad's expression Lowell, I only wish more drivers would adopt that attitude. I often think when I see drivers zig zagging in the traffic to get ahead 'why didn't they leave home ten minutes sooner'!! Gosh this bus is very eye-catching from the outside, wonder what is going on in there 😀 Here's wishing you both all the best for a healthy and happy 2018 🎇🎆🎊🎈🎉✨

I really like the Mr Anderson quote..... must remember that in the future. Yep, very big bus, don't argue with one that big and in that much of a hurry.... just let it go on it's way!

It's bad enough when little cars do that sort of thing but, I huge bus like that....yikes. I'd probably pull over and let him get way ahead of me.

That is big... too big.

Bus bling! Must have been the driver's first and maybe the last day driving the big bus!

It's a mighty fancy looking bus. Makes me think of the tour bus in "Almost Famous" that the rockers traveled in. This is 21st century cool, even if it's dangerously speedy.
