Gazebo in town square

Ocala's downtown square is typical of those you will find in many older towns across the country. It has been renovated by the city fathers and serves as the site for a variety of events, such as concerts, Christmas tree lightings, patriotic/political gatherings, etc. It is also a nice place to sit and meditate or eat lunch on a warm day.

Thanks, Bill...I appreciate the welcome. Several others have written to say the same and that's very nice.

I shall check out your blog shortly.

Best wishes!

Irene and I agree that the Xmas lighting in downtown Ocala is one of the most tasteful I have ever seen! They use white predominately with some blue. Its simplicity is wonderful!
