House for sale

Blue Oaks is a subdivision adjacent to ours on Ocala's east side. I've always thought this a beautiful home and noticed the other day it was up for sale. Out front is a small box containing informational papers about the house. We learned the asking price is $318,000.

It's been on the market for several weeks now, and I doubt they'll get that much in today's market, but I expect it will sell because it is a fine residence and located on a cul-de-sac in a wooded area.

I'm not so sure about the prices there but that residential place looks kOoL to me.

What a nice house. At 300+ it would go fast out here. Housing seems awful high out here still although the market is down. but people are still buying.

I like watching the goslings and even as teenagers they caused no trouble. A few to many after hours beach parties but nothing too out of hand. MB

Interesting...a house this nice in a neighbourhood this beautiful would probably list for over $350,000 here. Perhaps we should move to Florida. :)

une belle maison, je me rends pas compte si elle est cher, mais j'aime bien cette architecture.

a nice house, I am not if it is expensive, but I like this architecture.

It's a given that would be snapped up overnight here. Agree its a nice place and a steal by our standards.

It looks a very nice house! With this money here you can buy only a not-so-large two bedroom apartment in a quite good zone. Quite.

Could be just around the corner. Sure you weren't in Massachusetts over the weekend?

That is a beautiful home. $318k sounds like a good price to me. I think you could get that here in Jackson - depending on the square footage and the condition. But it looks like it's been well-loved.

@ Becky...in today's market, I think they'll be lucky to get 250-275 for it. It is big with 4 bedrooms...I'd guess over 2500 sq. ft.

This looks and seems like a bargain to me. A great house for sure.

Once again thanks for the award, Jacob. I'm grateful for your support:-)

Encouraging to hear the FL market is indeed picking up; anyone want a nice 2 bedroom 1.5 bath, screened in Florida room .. ground floor .. reserved parking steps from your door .. Century Village East in Deerfield Beach ..

It's very pretty! I like the roof. My daughter and son-in-law have had their house on the market since March. It's tough to sell a house right now.

It's beautiful! Hope someone will take care of it soon.

It amazes me how much these houses look like New England. My parents live in Rhode Island for 9 years and these houses could be their neighbors. Very nice looking place.
