Stingray looking for water

In spite of appearances, this is not some kind of alien craft. Rather it is a beautiful watercraft - a speedboat - heading north of Ocala on Highway 441, doubtless on its way to a body of water somewhere nearby. Central Florida is dotted with numerous lakes and rivers.

I'll bet some fun times will be had on that boat.

Exactly what we lack here, not a body of water except the sea... The lines of this craft are magic and fascinating against the sky.

That's really a nice speedboat! A friend once said: "The cool thing is not to own a boat, but to be friends with someone who does. 'Cause owning and keeping a boat is too expensive so with a friend who has one you just enjoy the ride...". Smart guy, huh?!

You are right, Cezar...or as a friend of mine said, a boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money!

Nice to have you back...and good to hear from you...and I hope you have a good day!

Thanks for telling us what it is — I would never have guessed otherwise!

Jacob that is sensational!

Haha, the happiest day of a boat owner’s life is the day they buy the boat and the day they
sell it.

Very lovely composition.

Nice lines and colors.

We will be away Tuesday the 16th through the 26th for ten-eleven days. We may or may not be on-line, as some of the time we will be camping and away from the internet.

Fabulous shot of the boat Jacob. The sky is so blue behind it! My ex-father-in-law used to say the happiest days in a boat owners life were the day he bought the boat and the day he sold it.

I've seen many of its cousins for sale as people try to unload toys during this times.

I like this pic a lot! I love the blue space at the top, and that you left so much of it. It really sets off the analogous colors below and the contrasting black. Very nice, and it does remind me of a ray, too :)

Looks sleek and fast - Stingray seems a proper name.

Good idea for a shot. a tribute to a beautiful sea creature-both the boat and the animal. I love the diversity of the shots on your site.

A crisp shot of a great watercraft. I never knew florida had lakes and rivers. Seems silly I know but I always remember it as swamps and ocean. I probably should not have been so surprised by that fact.
