Trinity Lutheran Church, located on Highway 200, just west of Ocala, is a parish related to the Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod, a very conservative branch of Lutheranism in the U.S.

A stunning façade, made of bricks?

I don't know about the church, it looks like amajestic building, but your photo is stunning with all these diagonal lines, the dark red brickwork, the grey cross and the greenery around. Really a wonderful image.

Very nice looking church. It would fit right in over here in Madison, MS. Our mayor has very strict building codes - everything must be brick!

VP was 'ere before me. I like all those lines too and am not surprised that it's Lutheran.

The architecture looks kind of modern which I find interesting because I think of conservative as being a bit old-fashioned. OOPS! I may have just revealed something about myself. ;-)

Ohh yes, sth like this I would meet in Poland:) Nice, calm (but also relatively modern) architecture and great shot!

Beautiful shot of this lovely Misery Synod, Lutheran church! Sure it's not ELCA?

Lowell said...

@ Leif - Yup! One thing I do know is the difference between the ELCA and the Misery Synod!
