People watching at the mall

While Lois Anne was shopping at the Paddock Mall, I relaxed in one of the comfy chairs provided by the mall proprietors, and did some people watching. These three young ladies came out of Macy's together, and then stood chatting in the middle of this large, open area for 10 to 15 minutes.

Finally, there was some shuffling of feet and glancing at watches and two of the ladies went down the mall corridor to the right. The young lady in the yellow blouse went down the mall corridor the left.

I went back to watching other people.

like birds in a tree, they chirp for a while and then fly away.

Nicely snapped: I've tried this many time shooting from my lap, not much success until now.

Captures the lazy, unhurried feeling of summer shopping. Fun description of your people watching.

Well, doesnt look crowded and hence a very peaceful and calm picture! With Indian population shooting to higher numbers, the Malls here doesnt let you see the vast space around. Will try to post a pic some day. Even on a weekday you may feel why so many people around :-(

Hehe, good choice. I prefer people watching over shopping, too.

It is quite empty, is this normal?

@ Beachlike - Actually, it was busier that day than it usually is...but then it's never really crowded which makes it a nice place to shop, have a bite to eat, or people watch.

@ MB - Boy, you got that right!

Hi Jacob,

You're like me. I also enjoy observing people. You learn a lot about people by just observing them quietly-:)

Malls are where we all meet for the same purposes: Spending money-:)

I am sure Mr Asta would prefer an American mall. The chairs they have in our malls are solid and made of wood.-:)

Best regards
Asta
