Never been one to worry about the Latin name.... photograph enough for me... very nice.. I would like to see more pics of the secret garden. Nice Pic Jacob.
Whatever it is, and I'm curious to know, your photography is excellent here, Jacob. The colors are so true, the sharpness amazing and the composition perfect.
It's lovely! Really pretty and lush! Is it more of a bush or more of a small plant or a rampant one? Forget the rampant one, it doesn't look *that* small!
Oh, Jacob, that is so very, very pretty. The water droplets give it that extra something. Sorry that Allison found out about your secret garden. NOW you're done for!
OK,OK,OK...Let's be nice now. I cry easily, you know. I personally would be a bit suspicious of someone who's "not sure what this plant is." They are always the troublemakers!
@ Allison (and Safe Leif) - Methinks the two of you have way too much time on your hands. Or perhaps it's so cold in Eagan that you have to keep typing to warm your fingers. Just saying...
Kcalpesh - The frame was part of an HP photo editing program that came with my previous computer. My computer crashed; I lost the hard drive; and thus, I lost the program.
I tried to find it again, but it doesn't appear to be available as a stand-alone item.

That is a beautiful plant but I'm even more impressed with the outstanding photography.

Im not sure what it is either but its very interesting. The leaves look like a rubber plant im not sure about the flowers though.

@ Ciel - You are right - 'tis a bush!
The buds on the ixora is just as pretty as when the flowers are open.
Well, Jacob - I just told 12 of my friends about your "secret garden." So, it's not a "secret garden" anymore. Allison was the most interested!
I love your Secret Garden already. What else is hiding out there?
Beautiful red on that beautiful flower. MB
I would like one of these for my garden. Will it grow up here in the tundra? The raindrops add a lot to an already perfect photo.
@ Safe Leif - Omigod! You told Allison????
Wow! What a stunning photo, Jacob! We had this plant at our home in Florida. Yes, it's ixora. Great capture!!!
Whatever it is, it's stunning. The quality of this picture is outstanding.
You can send the seeds?
:-)
A beautiful photograph, cheer your secret garden!!!
Thanks TOG and Julie - I don't know ixora from anorexia so I appreciate the input!
No matter what it is. It's beautiful! The water drops add that extra something to the photo!
Wonderful! I haven't seen such flower yet!
It's a beautiful picture Jacob! Simply stunning. You should have known you couldn't keep it a secret for long!
WOW! What a GORGEOUS MACRO!!! Great colors, clarity and comp. And I have no idea what it is.
You folks who live where it's hot, I dunno how you do it. Phew! It's HOT here today!
That is fantastic. I love the colors, the clarity and the very, very inviting green! Of course, the orange is stunning!
Ixora ? Je n'ai jamais vu une plante comme ça ! Luxuriante !

@ Allison. Aw, I'd always be nice to you! Especially seeing as who you work for! ;-)
By the way, your name is mentioned a few times on Steffe's posting for today. Just sayin'...

You both are rather "funny," though!

Hmmmm, secret garden, there must be a lot of significance in this, as there is for Léia and me!
God bless you!
