Mom and her baby

We found these two cuties at a small horse farm northeast of Ocala, near Jumbolair, the home of John Travolta.

What is there to say? How could you possibly find anything NOT to like here. Beautiful animals indeed. Nice work Jacob.

Great color and composition, but if someone wanted to give me a horse, I'd say neigh.

I do love horses and this picture is so sweet!
(btw, when I was a teen I was completely in love for Travolta! LOL it was about that movie: Saturday Night Fever !I saw that movie 8 times!
LOL
ahhh about my post, that Cathedral picture ( I think it was not a good shot...anyway ...) I did nothing with it, only that "auto correct"light in normal windows, no photoshop in this case.

Hey...don't tell Cezar about John Travolta okay! LOL ;)

This photo is very pretty and as elegant as the horses in it. Horses are wonderful animals but I get dizzy when I'm on their backs.

When I click on my cdpb logo, I get a message saying that the account has been suspended. I think the bill has not been paid. I don't understand why my lines are still so long. Yours look just fine. I need to take classes, for sure.

Are you sure you didn't meander up to Minnesota for that shot, Jacob? I don't see any alligators in the picture anywhere! Oh wait...is that a pair of reptile eyes looking over the grass on the left? I KNEW it!!

I like this one! This captures what summer is all about, grazing doing nothing. I'm doing this today.

I see the youngster is staying close to mom. Good way to learn about life. Great shot.

I can not tell you how much I love these animals. Here in Minnesota, the state fair starts tomorrow. One of my favorite things to do there is visit the horse barn. It is is great that you have these horse farms all around you.
A very cool picture indeed. Gorgeous animals.

awww beautiful horses! That is such a beautiful area up there. Thank you for the email..I have fixed the comment problem! :) We love this shot you took!

@ Allison - No alligators lurking here. And no, this was not taken in Minnesota. You can tell by the fact that the horses are not trembling from fear of frozen nights which they usually do when they think they might be sold to a Minnesotan!

this baby looks quite big already ;-)

You know I'm lovin this one, Jacob.

@ Leia - I don't think Cezar is too worried about your infatuation with Travolta as a teen...but I won't tell him anyway. Ok, Cezar? You know nothing!

The cathedral shot is superb even if you didn't Photoshop it!

By the way, Travolta comes into town sometimes on his Harley. I've heard he shops at Wal-Mart late at night so he won't be mobbed by people.

Thank you for all your help today! I think I have all the kinks worked out on the daily blog. I look forward to more of your photos!

Thank you very much, Jacob. I changed the width when you told me to try that but it didn't really help. Today I controlled the width manually (carriage returns???), that's why the lines are not too long. I should learn about html a little bit :-)))
My "followers" have come back but not the CDPB logo. I hope I've not been attacked by a hacker!

Thank again and have a great evening. Here mine is almost over already.

Lowell said...

@ Marie - I'm stumped. I don't really think you've been hacked...but something's. You may have to replace the CDPB logo yourself...it may have been deleted accidentally.
