Pickup your mail. Sit down and read your mail. Can't beat that!

We have community mailboxes but no benches. Hmmm.

Lot more convenient and fuel efficient for the delivery person that's for sure.

I like the idea of benches next to community mail boxes, but I like the fact that mail is delivered to our own mailbox at our house.

My mother used to talk about how the mailman came and delivered mail to their house twice a day when she was growing up in the 1920's and 30's.

Yep, those benches surely look inviting. About my photo through the bridge railing, I had put the camera on manual and focused as best I could with bifocals! Glad you liked it.

Read your bills!
I guess you're right, but only in your neck of the woods. I'm not sitting there dejectedly reading my bills in the rain or snow... ;-)

I would be reading utilities bills and bank statements only! I know this picture...

Especially for those who can't wait to arrive home to read their mail :-)

Missed being here.

I like the garbage can strategically placed next to the mailboxes. Pick up junk mail....toss junk mail in the trash.

I'm with SRQ, I like the trash can for the junk.

Well, they could have a beer vending machine... ;)

It looks like an office in the street. You don't need conditioning air.

I've done my best to get everything done online, but, yes, I still get mail. AARP is the biggest offender, actually, and that reminds me that I need to write them -- no wait, I'll go to their web site!

I can hardly remember the last time I got anything through the mail worth sitting down to read... Nice thought, though.

Hmmm, what if more than one person picks at once? I guess someone would be reading over the shoulders... Hmmm, hmmm, not good! :)
God bless you!
