Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church

First of all, notice the color differences in the two photos.  They were taken within a couple of minutes of each other.  The color difference is due to the angle of the sun.

Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church is an Ocala landmark and is one of over 200 Baptist churches in the Ocala area.  It is located near the downtown square.

A beautiful little chapel, and you have captured it so well, Lowell.

Light does make a difference doesn't it. That tree is a spire unto itself and it made me inspired to say that. MB

I like the colors in the second shot.

The sun likes to play tricks on me too.

It's amazing what a difference a moment or a change in angle can make. Light shifts so quickly. That's a gorgeous cloud-dotted sky!

To answer your question: I used Windows Live Photo Gallery and adjusted the saturation and exposure levels to bring out the deeper colors. Thanks for your comment!

Very well captured, and light is the key to all photos!

I like the light in the second shot much better. The church in itself is nothing special.

The church looks like it has a few different architectural styles going on here.
Your photo yesterday inspired me to take some photos of the budding trees in my driveway for today's post.

That's a lot of Baptist churches in such a small area! I guess you have a lot of Baptists there.

The building has an interesting look to it. There must be an overflow of Baptists around there.

My goodness! So that's what sunlight looks like, eh? Shades of blue. My oh my!

Sounds like you have a lot of Baptists in your parts. Does that translate to not so many Protestants and Catholics or do you have an equal measure of those churches, too?
