Spring already?

We've been blessed with some warmer weather the past week or so and it shows. Grass is greening, leaves are sprouting, and azaleas are blooming!

Oh, that's nice. I don't think it's going to last, though, Lowell. A cold front is coming through. It's supposed to be chilly this weekend. Perhaps too chilly for these pretty azaleas.

I hope they survive the cold. And you should play golf, Lowell. We have golfers in Washington who are out there playing come hell and high water. Who knows? You may even play better if you can't feel your hands. (I saw your comment to SRQ.)

How lovely, Lowell! While we have been having nice temperatures here in Montreal for the past few days, we are due to get some snow tonight and tomorrow, and it is supposed to get cold again, so this is refreshing to see!

A friend just sent pics from Venice Fla showing all the Azaleas in bloom there too! I am so envious of all you warm weather creatures.

This is pretty. Down here, I don't know how I would know if it is spring. (Yup, I like Norman Love's chocolates.)

Very pretty!

But I don't want spring to come any earlier than it's supposed to here. It did last year and then we had a frost that prevented some fruits and berries from forming. That;s not good for the birds!

It will be awhile before we see a pretty scene like this one so I'm glad you shared your early spring with us.

We are back in the great frozen north, and it is good to know that spring is headed this way, even if it takes a couple months to get here. Enjoy the flowers.

And this week they are all going to succumb to frostbite...crazy.
