Come play with me!

The donkey began walking when we stopped and looked at him over the fence.  He went to his ball and slowly but surely nudged the ball ahead of him as he approached us.  He wanted to play but we weren't sure of his game and we certainly weren't going to climb the fence to find out.

He watched us disconsolately as we hopped on our bikes and rode away.

This is so cute. I've never heard of a donkey that plays ball but, anything is possible.

The donkey knows that soccer is enjoyed much more with friends.

What a cute little fellow. If he is out there all by himself, I bet he is lonely.

The game is what brings people and animals. Replaces speech.

Awww. Now I feel sad for the poor little thing. I hope he found a playmate.
