Owen celebrating St. Patrick's Day

'Tis a breach of some rule, I'm sure, but this is not a picture of Ocala or an Ocala person. This is Owen, our great-grandson, who lives with his parents in south Florida. His mother, our granddaughter, is a terrific photographer and she gave me permission to post this picture of Owen (who has some Irish from his father's side) celebrating St. Paddy's Day. Yes, I know St. Paddy's has come and gone, but I still thought the photo worth sharing.

What great shot! I love his T-Rex t-shirt and his checked sunglasses. He also has that a cute little smile that says he might be a bit of a "ham" when he wants to be.

The horse carved on the stone was in my yard but now is in my daughter's yard on the ranch.
I sent you an email.

Now that's a kid with style and he's flying a good flag.

(The mudslide, which looks truly horrific, is east of us, on the other side of Puget Sound. We're unaffected except for the sobering effect of the scale of what Mother Nature can throw at mere mortals.)

Nice portrait of a handsome lad! The genes must come from Lois.

I missed the St. Patrick's Day parade this year. I committed to golf before I checked the date of the parade. That won't happen next year.
