Going to the repair shop

I talked with the owner of this beautiful "antique," and he said it needed some kind of bearings. Looks like new, I told him. We had a '55 Chevy Bel Air which was slightly different than this, which, I believe, is a 1957 model.

Ouch!! So many things I knew and loved as a child are now considered antiques...((including me, sigh))

I'm glad the owner is taking care of this collectible car and I like how you've edited this photo.

Yipes!!! I have to agree with Kay!!! And I wasn't even a "child" in 1955 -- I was in college!!!

The car is just fine, everything else needs a hand of paint...

I wonder if this is the kind my dad had.

That's not an antique -- that's a classic. At least it was a classic year to graduate from high school. (At least I can remember that.) Beautiful car, fun memories!
