Cedar Key is mainly all about clams. People here raise 'em and sell 'em. There are several major companies that raise and harvest clams in Cedar Key.
One of these is noted for their Sweet Littleneck Clams.
This boat had just pulled up the ramp after a clam harvest. It is, as you can see, loaded with clams.

I have never had clams, but my father used to eat something called 'winkles' when I was a little girl. It is some sort of seafood delicacy. :)
Well, I don't have enough appetite these days to eat much of anything, but I did love almost all seafood when I was a younger "broad"!! Hope your new week is off to a good start as we move to a new year!! Take care and enjoy!!

That looks like quite a harvest! Yum! Chowder, steamed, bouillabaisse, cioppino. It all sounds good to me.
I'm not really a fan of clams, but, why not ?
